So I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m a little sad to learn that America’s top brewery will now be owned by a foreign company. Now generally speaking, I’ll take a fine German or Belgian beer any day of the week over a mass produced Anheuser-Bush (AB) concoction (Budweiser, Bud Light, etc.). But that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the dedication and effort AB has given over the last 50+ years to create mass produced beers that were relatively inexpensive, reached out to different parts of the market, tasted pretty damn good, and were part of some of the most fun experiences of my life (read: college days).
